The French artist Marie Amalia Bartolini came into early contact with art as the daughter of an under glass painter and a sculptor. Her own work offers a magnificent escape from reality from adulthood into a childlike perception of the world, which in her case is full of colours and wonders and populated by animals living peacefully together.
